The Victoria Ann dahlia is classified as a small (BB) dahlia four to six inches in diameter. It is semi-cactus in form and it is listed as light in color, but the photos I took at The Dahlia Garden in Golden Gate Park were graced with a darker to lighter, blended purple. It was introduced in 2003 by N. Gittz. The ADS Classification Code is 3210. This perennial requires full sun. It is deer-resistent. You can grow it in a 3-gallon container on up or in the ground.
